THE ISLANDS
Situated south of Sicily (Italy) in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea. Geographic coordinates are 35° 50' N, 14° 35' E. Both islands cover an area of 316sq km, with a coastline of 196.8 km for Malta and 56.01 km for Gozo.

Typically Mediterranean with mild, rainy winters and an average temperatures of 14.1° C and hot, dry summers with an average temperature of 32° C .

DRIVING
Left hand driving. Speed limits are 50 km/h in urban areas and 80 km/h on highways unless otherwise indicated in specific areas and conditions.
